A fun family vacation does not have to break the bank – University of Florida/IFAS Financial Expert Dr. Michael Gutter explains how to have fun in the sun without going in the red.

This was a requested video on budgeting for a trip to Walt Disney World! The viewer asked if I could reference what a similar trip to the one I recently showed on this channel would cost – a 5 night stay with two theme park days. Plane flight, car rental, hotel cost, food, and recreation cost are all estimated.
For our family, we had a few anomalies that made our trip cost a bit less, which I talk about – but I also estimate what the cost would have been if our trip to Orlando would have been a “regular” one, without those discounts available to us. Also, we have two adults and two children in our party, however one child is under the age of 3 so park tickets and some food options are free for children under 3.
Estimates for a 5 night/2 theme park days stay:
Plane Flight: 00-00
Rental Car: 00
Park Tickets: 11 – 2 adults, 1 child paid ticket (1 child under age 3)
00, 2 adults, 2 child tickets (age 3+)
Total Disney Budget: 00+
Also, I would check to see if any company or organization discounts are available to you!
